Community Outreach
Our parishioners are involved in many outreach ministries both in our local community and around the world. We always welcome those who are interested in getting involved with these programs. Below you will find a selection of these opportunities. More information on how to participate can always be obtained by calling or emailing either Parish Office.

40 West Assistance & Referral Center
As the outreach ministry of the churches along the 40 West corridor, 40 West provides rental assistance, a food pantry, help with utility bills and many other services. St. Agnes Church supports 40 West through a yearly monetary commitment and non-perishable food donations.
Catonsville Emergency Assistance (CEA)
Catonsville Emergency Assistance serves greater Catonsville residents with emergency food, eviction prevention and utility cut-off intervention. They are located at 25 Bloomsbury Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. St. Agnes Church supports CEA through non-perishable food donations.

St. Vincent de Paul Fund
This is our pastorate's limited emergency outreach to parish and local families in need of help with utility cutoff and eviction. Facilitated through staff and volunteer efforts, requests are vetted prior to any distribution, and are often referred to outreach centers, which can provide more comprehensive services. This fund also occasionally can supply a small grocery gift card once a month to our neighbors in need, who come by the parish office in search of a meal. St. Agnes Church support this ministry through the generous donations of our parishioners, to our Poor Box.
Throughout the year, there are different drives for area outreach centers, including Women's Center West. Located at 5 Ingleside Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228, this is a nonsectarian medical clinic, providing pregnancy testing, sonograms, parenting education, and material assistance. They also provide alternatives to abortion, assist women in crisis pregnancies, provide material assistance and work with other organizations to help pregnant women.

Haiti
The parishioners of St. Agnes Parish send support to Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Desdunes, Haiti along with the schools associated with the parish.

Seasonal Outreach
There are many more organizations supported by the parishioners of St. Agnes Church, most especially during the holidays when we sponsor projects supporting places such as The Franciscan Center in Baltimore, other area churches outreach efforts and special efforts on behalf of the 40 West Assistant & Referral Center.
